KENNETH L. 'KEN, AKA BUD' WILLIAMS JR., 76 ROCKFORD - Kenneth L. "Ken, aka Bud" Williams Jr., 76, of Rockford died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, in his home. Born Jan. 10, 1936, in Rockford, the son of Kenneth L. and Hazel (Colman) Williams Sr. He married Dawn DeBaere Collier on June 6, 1998, in Rockford. He was last employed at Williams Brothers Plumbing as a plumber. He was an avid camper and especially enjoyed camping in Wisconsin. He is survived by wife, Dawn of Rockford; children, Dave (Jane) Williams of Rockford, Ken (Janet) Williams of Stillman Valley and Linda (Ron Ulrich) Williams of Byron; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his cat, "Lucky". Predeceased by his parents and sisters, Barbara and Shirley. The family would like to express their thanks to Mike and Cheryl Crimmins for their great care given to Ken and Dawn through the years. Service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford with the Rev. David Meggers officiating. Burial in New Milford Cemetery, New Milford. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in Fred C. Olson Chapel.
