"Blake"...your memory is with me every moment of every day. I miss you so much. You brought the concept of being a positive DIVA to life. Everything about you was well put together.
You were that special someone in our family. I gave you your name...that was such an honor. I always loved how we started our conversations..."Denise, this is Denise!" I long to hear you say that again...just one more time. I know we will meet again on the other side and I will hear you say it again. I miss the small things that we did together, like sleeping with you on vacations and going to Logli's!
Your sudden departure has had a devasting and significant impact on our family. It has made a close-knit family even closer, and strengthened our relationship with our Lord and Savior! God makes no mistakes. His will has been done, and I ask Him daily to help me accept it.
We all have a special place in our hearts for your children, Draque, Bryce and Mya. Thank you for them, and doing a marvelous job in raising them! They are all well rounded kids. I know that me and the rest of the family will be there for them. Not to worry about your babies.
We also have our arms around your Mom, Dad, Brothers and Sister, too! As you would say, "We got this".
I will not forget the great time we had at Draque's graduation. You were definately the proud Mommy! Rocking your stilletto heels.
You left behind a great family and wonderful friends "the Hot Chiques". We will always celebrate your life.

I just do not understand WHY. I am praying that the Lord gets me thru this. My heart is just crushed, It is a pain that I have never experienced. You have been the SHINING STAR of our family. A week never went by and we would not talk to each other, sometimes,just to say Hey and then there were many times when we would talk for hours. I am going to really miss those talks. I will never forget Draque's graduation we all had such a wonderful time, and we where so proud of Draque and you too cause you definitly did a excellent job with Draque, Bryce and Mya. To the family of Blay please accept my heart felt condolence in the passing of your loved one. I hadn't seen Blay in quite a awhile, we where mutual friends through Shonteda back in the day. To Blay's Family,
May the Lord be with you at this time to lift you and give you strength. Blay touched a lot of lives during her time here. We all knew her to be a very special, loving, funny, and energetic young woman. I had a lot of fun cheering with Blay at Auburn and I will hold tightly to those memories. I can't remember a day without seeing a smile on her face or hearing something "crazy" come out of her mouth. Please know that I will continue to pray for you guys as the days pass. I'm going to truly miss her!! Much love to you!
