Funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, in Maywood Evangelical Free Church, 3621 Samuelson Road. Visitation at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, in the church. Special thanks to family, friends and the Maywood Church Community, who Lenny loved very much, for all their support and love of Len and the family through the peaks and valleys of this trial.

She spoke words of worry
To the old woman in front of me
When we were the ones coming
To give her our sympathy.

As she hugged the old woman
Love shinning in her eyes
She told her don’t fall
For it’s slippery outside

When my turn came in line
I gave her a long squeeze
She was thinking of my pain
Whispering words of ease

I was there to let her know
My heart was with her at this time
As I am sure she greeted everyone
With words of love through the line

We were there to give her comfort
We were there to show we cared
That’s where I witnessed Christ’s love
With everyone, I’m sure she shared

Pam,

Lenny was a wonderful man and was a wonderful neighbor as well. When he himself was fighting cancer he still helped Ross. This really shows his love of God.

Your brother was so kind to leave me a voice mail message that Lenny had passed.

God Bless you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers.

May Keenan
