Liam David Vaughn, 3, of Rockford died Sunday, June 15, 2014.
The Northern Illinois Multi-Jurisdictional Honor Guard is saddened to hear of the loss of our brothers son, Liam.
In support of Liam, his family is asking all Law Enforcement Officers to please wear their uniforms and the general public to wear superhero attire. Liam loved his family very much and had a great love for all superheroes, especially Batman and his "Daddy Mark".
Funeral Service 10 am Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108, with Pastor Jeff Fricke officiating. Visitation from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the State Police Department at gofundme.com/adznio for a memorial bench and tree to be planted in Liam's memory.
The Northern Illinois Multi-Jurisdictional Honor Guard wishes to express our sincere condolences and sympathy to the Vaughn family.

I did not know Liam, but I can tell by the warm smile on his face and see in his eyes that he is a superhero at heart. I am so sad for your loss. He now sits with Jesus.
