I recently heard that my cousin Louie had passed away. He and I were attendants at our Aunt Izzy's wedding when we were 4 or 5. He was the ring bearer with long red curls and I the flower girl with straight brown hair which my mom tried to curl without success. At the rehearsal the priest thought we were both flower girls. Louie and his dad always flooded Churchill Park so any one could ice skate in the winter. Unfortunately, we lost track of him when Aunt Izzy was still alive, and Aunt Joey didn't know where he was either. My sympathy to his loved ones. Cousin Shirley Coppoletti Veit, 11002 N. 109th Ave. Sun City AZ 85351. [email protected]

Lou was my St. Thomas HS teacher and my roommate when he returned to NIU to complete his degree. A good person to have guiding me in my first year of college. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I was a high school friend of red-haired Louie.I was his campaign manager when he ran for Vice President of our class. One of our campaign slogans was:Ey and begorra,Vote for Tangorra!
(He lost...)

Dear Sheri and all the family, All the Coppoletti family send our condolences to you all. Louie is our cousin and some of us spent a lot of time in the old days at Aunt Helen's house, and always went there after playing tennis or ice skating at Churchill Park. Aunt Helen gave us pizza and her famous Aunt Helen's cookies (I have her recipe). Louie taught my brother Jim and me (Richard) how to play tennis. we always enjoyed our get togethers with Louie senior, Helen, Punk and "Junior." Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Punk has our phone and address as we saw them in the recent past.
