MARK E. IVERSON, 76 LOVES PARK - Mark E. Iverson, 76, of Loves Park died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at home surrounded by his family. Born May 23, 1937, in Stoughton, Wis., the son of Arthur and Mildred (Lonsdorf) Iverson. Married Barbara Schuh on Sept. 26, 1959. Mark worked in retail management for many years. Founded Iverson Painting in 1986, and worked until his illness forced him to retire in 2004. He was an avid gardener and lifelong pigeon enthusiast. Mark was an active member of Northeast Christian Church. His greatest joys were spending time with his Savior, enjoying his children and seven grandchildren and fellowshipping with his church family. He loved watching sports and shared this passion with his grandchildren. Survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Paul (Mary) Iverson, Theresa (Michael) Meyer, Theodore (Joanne) Iverson, and Mark Iverson II; grandchildren, Christopher, Ed (Talita), Abby, Genna (Jason), Nathan, Stephanie and Brody; sister, Mary (Jim) McConnell; brother-in-law, Ralph LeFevre; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; sister, Sonja; and granddaughter, Amanda. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Northeast Christian Church, 5651 E.
