Mary Peterson Obituary
Mary Ann Peterson passed away in Waco, TX on September 18, 2016, at the age of 84. Mary was born April 2, 1932, to her parents, Henry F. Dummer and Ida M. (Bauer) Dummer. She graduated from Rockford East High School in 1950. She married Jerome Peterson in 1953. Mary was a long time member of the local League of Women Voters. Her passion was being a loving homemaker, wife, and mother from her home of 47 years in rural Rockton, IL. Mary is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jerome Peterson; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sheri Peterson of McGregor, TX; son, Daniel Peterson of Brigham City, UT; brother, Robert Dummer; sister, Jean (Dummer) Erickson; and two granddaughters, Kasha and Kari; four great-grandchildren.
The scattering of cremation ashes will take place at a later date at a location to be determined. The family is grateful for condolences but declines flowers and donations. The guestbook is available at www.gracegardensfh.com

I am so sorry to have read of Mary's passing. My sympathy goes out
to you Jerry, and your family. She has already been missed by me for some
time. We go back for a long time, since first grade, and a lot good
memories with the four of us. My thoughts and prayers are with all of
