Diane: Steve was my boss for 10 years when I worked at Barber Colman. I think of him often and remember what a great time in my life that was. He was a wonderful person and devoted husband and father. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to you all.

Steve and my husband attended Bell School together in the 1940's and they were in 4-H together as well. Steve attended my husband's graveside service in Rockford nearly 13 yrs. ago. I was so delighted to see him, and I will always remember how kind & gracious he was to our family. My condolences to the Carlson family in your great loss!

Diane, Scott and Michael,
We are writing to express our deepest sympathy in the physical death of your beloved husband and dad, Steve. Our prayers are with you during these difficult days of grieving your loss. May you find comfort from each other, friends and the trust you have in Jesus's promises for eternal life for those who have trusted in Him, and knowing Steve is in the presence of Jesus. I can only imagine what he must be experiencing now. God's blessing to you all.

Diane, Scott and Mike,
I have so so many wonderful memories of Steve and our two families being together. He always spread joy wherever we were. I loved his laugh and the way he always said "Hey, there's my girl" to me. He was one of a kind - the kind of person we should all want to be. I am honored to have Diane and Steve as my Godparents. I love you all. Steve will always hold a special place in my heart.
I am thinking of you and lifting you up in prayer.
