Pauline was a good neighbor and friend to us during our 13 years living across the street from her in Rockford. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, member of her church, and member of our community. In fact, good is not an appropriate word for all Pauline offered and did. She was a great person and we will all miss her tremendously.

Pauline was very special in so many ways. I found her to be kind, patient, generous, and never held a grudge. She is someone who set a good example for the rest of us. She will be missed, but NEVER forgotten for each person who knew her will carry part of her with them and will be a better person for it.

When I retired after 260,000 patient visits, I always had the feeling that my patients would miss Pauline more than they would miss me.

A wonderful woman that always put everyone else first. She lit up whatever room she was in. You will never meet a more loving and caring person. I cannot imagine a better mother-in-law. She will be missed by everyone she knew. Hopefully, in remembrance of her, we can all aspire to be a bit better ourselves.

I so enjoyed having Pauline as my 4-H leader. She was always encouraging us to try different projects or harder ones. The club was rather large at the time, but Pauline and Bev kept us on task and made it fun. Pauline even entrusted me to babysit for Dawn and Kim. They were such fun. Pauline was a wonderful person and will be missed. My deepest sympathies.

One of my fondest memories is sharing a nice visit Pauline over a pot of tea and a plate of cookies. I will dearly miss my good friend and neighbor, may she be singing with the angels.
