Richard Graupner Obituary

RICHARD 'DICK' A. GRAUPNER, 84 ROCKFORD - Richard "Dick" A. Graupner, 84, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 23, 1930 to Arthur and Bernice (Robinson) Graupner; married Ramona M. Rangeloff on February 19, 1955 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Dick served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed as a salesman in furniture and lighting. He was active for many years at the Janesville, WI Senior Activity Center, participating in ping-pong and competing in the Wisconsin Senior Olympics. Survived by his wife, Ramona; children, Cheryl Bowman, Gary (Deby), Michael (Irma), Julie, Janet (Jeff) Arns and Ronald; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Allen. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. Mrs Graupner, Ron and Family so sorry for your loss. I remember the camping trips to Pierce Lake and the "Lucky Strike" smoke coming out the chimney of the Lincoln Log houses! Mr Graupner always made things more fun.
