Richard Graupner Obituary

RICHARD 'DICK' A. GRAUPNER, 84 ROCKFORD - Richard "Dick" A. Graupner, 84, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 23, 1930 to Arthur and Bernice (Robinson) Graupner; married Ramona M. Rangeloff on February 19, 1955 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Dick served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed as a salesman in furniture and lighting. He was active for many years at the Janesville, WI Senior Activity Center, participating in ping-pong and competing in the Wisconsin Senior Olympics. Survived by his wife, Ramona; children, Cheryl Bowman, Gary (Deby), Michael (Irma), Julie, Janet (Jeff) Arns and Ronald; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Allen. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be used in Richard's name at a later date. To share a memory or express condolences, visit honquestfh.com.

Mrs Graupner, Ron and Family so sorry for your loss. I remember the camping trips to Pierce Lake and the "Lucky Strike" smoke coming out the chimney of the Lincoln Log houses! Mr Graupner always made things more fun.
