Robert Peterson Obituary
Robert J. Peterson, 95, of Rockford, IL passed away August 23, 2018. Born January 29, 1923, to John and Annetta Peterson. Married Mary Crouse on August 31, 1944. Served in the US Navy from 1942 until 1945. Bob is survived by his son, Harry; daughter-in-law, Kathy; and granddaughters, Marissa (Ben) Slavin, Miranda (Zac) Glawe, and Amy. Worked at Barber Colman and Roper Whitney in several roles including shop superintendent. Very active in the Rockford Lion's Club and the Blind Center. Preceded in death by wife, Mary and daughter, Joyce.
Private burial services will be held. Online condolences at sundbergfh.com.
