SHIRLEY ANN KONETSKI, 73 ROCKFORD - Shirley Ann Konetski, 73, of Rockford died at 6:10 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, in her home. Born Feb. 11, 1934, in Havelock, Iowa, daughter of Leslie Peter and Vera Alcorn Albers. Rockford resident since 1948. Married John J. Konetski, July 1954, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Worked for Illinois Bell Telephone as a repair clerk from 1968 to 1989. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, John J. Konetski of Rockford; daughters, Theresa (Robin) Kemp of Rockford and Karen (Michael) Carnell of Melbourne, Fla.; son, John A. (Loida) Konetski of Atlanta; grandchildren, Michael and Brian Hall, and Paul and Jason Konetski. Predeceased by her parents; and brother, Allan Albers. Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 201 Buckbee St. with the Rev. Peter Sarnicki officiating. Private burial. Visitation from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., Saturday in the church. Rosary recited at 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Northern Illinois Hospice, 4215 Newburg Road, Rockford, IL 61108.
