STEPHAN HENRY ANDERSON, 81 ROCKFORD - Stephan Henry Anderson, 81, of Rockford, died at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, October 20, 2013, at SwedishAmerican Hospital. He was born on January 3, 1932, in Rockford, IL, to Evans J. and Marion E. (Lamb) Anderson. Married the former Helen V. Dahlquist in Rockford on August 2, 1958. Graduated from East Rockford Senior High School and worked as a revenue auditor for the State of Illinois-Dept. of Revenue. Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, The Rockford Lions Club, The Rockford Choral Union and The Rockford Big Brothers. Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl (Allen) Konitski of Rockford; grandson, Stephan (Zandra) Northrup of Rockford; great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Evan Northrup; his devoted and faithful dog, Jeffrey; and special friend, Jean Schoppe. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen; and grandson, Alex. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 24, at Westminster Presbyterian Church 2821 Bell School Rd. Rockford with the Rev. Dr. William Ward officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at the church. Burial at Scandinavian Cemetery.
