Audrey P. Rowe

1929 - 2018

SHAFTSBURY - Audrey Patricia Rowe, 88, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at Centers for Living and Rehabilitation, following a long illness.
She was born March 19, 1929, the daughter of Mildred (Molitor) Luff, in Brooklyn, New York, where she received her education.
She married Harold R. Rowe May 28, 1960, in North Babylon, New York.
Mrs. Rowe was employed at Graybar Electric in Queens, New York, for 20 years. In Bennington, she worked at W.T. Grant's.
She volunteered Bennington Free Library and took care of the gardens at Park McCullough House.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Rowe enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, housekeeping and bookkeeping.
Survivors include her husband, of Shaftsbury; two daughters Deborah Huether, of Bennington, and Cheryl Rowe, of Winchester, New Hampshire; a grandson; a brother, Charles Luff Jr., of Albuquerque, New Mexico; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by five siblings, Eleanor Spada, Winifred Baldessare, Edward Ward, Richard and Robert Luff.
The funeral to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be at a later date in Center Shaftsbury Cemetery.
