Frank Breznick Obituary
He was born on July 17, 1926, in Mineville, N.Y., the son of the late Frank and Bernice (Terczak) Breznick.
Frank was a graduate of Poultney High School in 1945. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Granville, N.Y.
Frank was employed by the Telescope Casual Furniture in Granville, N.Y., for many years before retiring.
He had a great passion for his garden, growing beautiful vegetables and gladioluses, while in the winter months, he enjoyed baking.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews and his Monday night buddies, Toni and John Pacyna.
He was predeceased by brothers, Stanley, Edward and Walter Breznick, Wesley Cembalski; sisters, Bernice Breznick, Jenny Kuruc, Alice Cembalski, Sophie Fialkovich and Helen Kopchick.
There will be no public calling hours.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Granville, N.Y. Burial with military honors will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Durfee Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Frank may be made to the Foley Cancer Center at Rutland Regional Medical Center, 160 Allen St., Rutland, VT 05701.
