Garrett Anderson Obituary

BRANDON - A gathering in celebration of the life of Garrett Stephen Anderson, 58, who died Aug. 9, 2016, was held on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Brandon American Legion Post #55.
Aaron Tucker, commander, and Dick Brosse, chaplain, officiated.
Military honors were accorded by members of the post, led by Sgt.-at-Arms Robert Gearwar.
Paul Scott sounded taps.
Following the ceremony, the family received friends.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral home in Brandon.

He was my best man at my one and only wedding and that was 30 years ago. Some of his good luck must've rubbed off on us! I'm glad we got to talk to him at the house here just a day or two before his passing. It's always the hardest to find out long after the fact, 'cause we even missed his memorial get-together at the Brandon Legion.
