Michael DePoy Obituary
Born and raised in Rutland, Michael moved to Chicago in 1980 where he met the love of his life, Sharon Watson. They spent 35 wonderful years together and raised two amazing children, Patrick and Maggie.
Michael lived his life with compassion and laughed easily and often. He will be missed by his family, friends and the many lives he touched during his 63 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael's name to Gift of Hope (www.giftofhope.org/about/monetary_donation.htm).
A private memorial service was held in Chicago at which hundreds gathered to celebrate Michael's life including family members Thomas (Nancy) DePoy; Chris (Cheri) DePoy; Martha (Skip) Pratico and their children.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Martha DePoy, his sister, Mary (Jeff) Harris and his brother, Peter (Lynn) DePoy.
