Susan Dufresne Obituary
She is the daughter of Robert J. and Barbara H. Dufresne. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Robert E., David A. and William R.
She was born in Springfield, Vermont, on April 24, 1961. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1978. She attended Lyndon State College and graduated with honors from Johnson College in 1995. She attended New England School of Hair Design in Claremont, New Hampshire, and served as an instructor and school representative at various high schools in Vermont and New Hampshire while living in Springfield.
In 1990, Sue joined her parents, who were living in Fort Myers, Florida, and stayed to live in Cape Coral. Sue had several health problems, and living close to her parents was very helpful, but in the end they proved to be more than her system could handle even with the care of several doctors.
Her love for her family was very precious to her, along with her love of Vermont. Susan will always be remembered for her courage and the many sacrifices she had to make in her life.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Vermont and her cremated remains will be placed in the family lot in the Berlin Corners Cemetery.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of "Ms. D". She was one of my instructors at NESHD, 25 years ago. She taught with pride in her profession, and always with a sense of humor. She was a great person.

I just heard of Susan's passing, and my heart almost stopped. She was my educator at NESHD, but above all my mentor, and my friend. She dared to dream big.. and lived her life to the fullest..she taught me to go for my dreams, and reach high...she will will be missed by many..

Dear Dufresne family,
I am saddened to hear of Sue's passing. she was a dear friend through high school. i can remember spending time in your kitchen at the top of the hill on reservoir Rd. All of us together. Dear Dufresne family:
I am shocked to read about Susan's passing.. Although I had lost touch with her, she was in my thoughts from time to time. I worked at the beauty salon "Anthonys" in Manchester VT with her.. She was always an up beat fun friend, and wonderful hairdresser, wonderful with clients. She loved people very much.And spoke frequently of her family and her brothers.
