William Bullock Obituary
He was born June 19, 1939, in Rutland, the son of Charles A. and Charlotte (Foster) Bullock.
Bill attended St. Peter School and graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy in 1957.
Bill married Donna M. Crosby on July 30, 1960. They spent 57 wonderful years together raising their family in Rutland.
Bill was a longtime commercial real estate broker in Vermont. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter parish, serving on the parish council and school board. Bill co-chaired the 125th anniversary of St. Peter, and worked on the capital campaign which funded church renovations.
Bill was also active in the Rutland community. While serving on the Rutland City School Board, he played a significant role in getting the Stafford Technical Center approved by Rutland City voters in the early '70s. Bill devoted a great deal of time to political campaigns, including those of Senator Jim Jeffords and Mayor/Senator Gil Godnick.
Above all else, Bill loved his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, of Rutland; three daughters, Lori Bullock Sullivan, of Burlington, Kelly Bullock (Joe Birks), of Rutland, Stacia Bullock, of Rutland; one son, William "JR" Bullock (Laurie), of Rutland; eight grandchildren, William Vitagliano, Joseph Vitagliano, Rachel Sullivan, Louis Sullivan, Madeleine Sullivan, Nicholas Bullock, Olivia Bullock and Landon Bullock.
Bill was predeceased by his father in 1980, his mother and two sisters, Gloria Towle and Beverly Loso, in 2001.
Funeral services will be celebrated at St. Peter Church on Friday, June 30, at 11:30 a.m. by the Reverends Thomas Houle and Richard Tinney. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Clifford Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Contributions in Bill's name may be made to St. Peter Church.

My condolences to you Donna and your family. I remember when Bill helped me get elected to the RHS school board and what a tough fight he led to get the Technical School built with the new high school.
