Alexander Max
Passed away on January 12, 2014 in Sacramento Ca. seventeen days after an unexpected diagnosis of cancer. His family and friends are deeply saddened and will miss him very much. Alex is survived by his mother Anita L. Mora and his maternal grandparents Rufino (Joe) Mora and Consuelo (Connie) Lopez Mora of Sacramento, California. Alex was preceded in death by his father Modesto Gonzalez-Martos and his paternal grandparents of Granada, Spain, Raimundo Gonzalez and Maria Martos. Alex grew up in Marysville, Ca. where he always had fond memories of his family of neighbors and friends. After moving to Sacramento, Alex graduated from Lutheran High School in Elk Grove, and was currently attending Sacramento City College where he enjoyed math classes and hoped to become a meteorologist. Alex's kind nature of giving the little he had to those who have less will be quietly missed. Services will be held at 11:00 am at Harry A. Nauman's & Sons, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento Ca. Viewing at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. A reception will immediately follow at Kobasics on Riverside Blvd.

I remember Alex as a sweet young boy who shared a sunny afternoon with his mother and I, along the bank of the river in Old Sacramento some 20 years ago. Good natured, curious and affectionate...
