Died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 83 after a long illness. He was born in Sacramento to Andrew and Danica Cvitanov. He is survived by his soul mate and love of his life wife Eldarae (Ellie), 3 sons, Andy (Lorie), Robert (Natalie) and Steven Cvitanov; 5 loving grandchildren, Andrew (Robin), K.C., Bryan, Danielle and Spencer Cvitanov; nephew, Richard (Stephanie) Cvitanov and lots of other nieces and nephews; and a very dear and special friend Darrell (DeAnna) Chun. Longtime former auto dealer. Attended McClatchy High School, the class of 46, after which he enlisted and served in the Navy Military. He loved his country very much and felt it was the proudest moment in his life to honor it. Andy was very lucky to have 2 great partners in his 2 business adventures. His first partner Vincent L. Maita gave him his first break at American Motors on Fulton Avenue. When the business was sold, William A. Sutton owned property in Davis and so they built the new Toyota Dealership on Chiles Road. Andy felt very fortunate to have 2 wonderful partners in both ventures. Friends are invited to attend services Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10AM in the chapel at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA. Interment will be private at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Salvation Army or charity of your choice.
