I remember the day Andy took me flying. He was a good pilot and I was able to take a dozen aerial photographs of my timber farm near Georgetown, California.

I remember Uncle Andy years ago at our house in nampa Idaho. My Dad built on to our basement and showed it to Andy. My Dad could stand up in the room, but at 6'4" Andy had to bend down and put his hands on his knees to stand up. Uncle Andy and Uncle Leroy were both tall men who learned to adapt around us shorties. Judy and I are very sorry to hear of his passing.

I always enjoyed Uncle Andy. What an intelligent, easy going and modest man! Who knew he had two Bronze Stars? Jane, Karl, Mich, Andrea and Bob: you were so fortunate to have him in your lives.

I was so sad to learn of Uncle Andy's death -- Karl, Mich, Andrea, and Bob, I am thinking of you and my heart goes out to you all, as well as to Jane and her family. He was a lovely, gracious, and everlastingly kind soul. All my love, Victoria Brown Cech (and John and Isaiah!!)

When you were with Uncle Andy, you felt very settled; he made your feel at ease and brought out the best in people. He understood people but was not judgmental. He seemed to have this ability to bring out the very best in people.
I will miss him

I love my Uncle Andy.
I always thought he must have been a 'giant' because he seemed larger than life - literally! If I ever had a chance, I would sneak the opportunity to stick my whole arm in one of his enormous shoes!
Uncle Andy was one of the most inspiring, honest, caring, thoughtful and gentle people I have ever known. His very presence and then his insight always made me feel that things were "good and O.K."
Uncle Andy's will continue to inspire as I share his influence and life with my family.
His would be hard shoes to fill!
I love you Uncle Andy.

I always knew Andy Kadie simply as "Bob's Dad". He was always nice to me and our friends. Andy always smiled and was the most relaxed person I've ever met. I admired him for that.
I remember stealing cookies from their cookie jar in high school and always getting caught. Andy would just laugh.
I respected him and will miss him greatly.
Sincerely,

I always knew Andy Kadie as "Bob's Dad". He was always nice to me and was one of the most relaxed people I've ever met. I really admired that about him.
He always had a smile on his face and saw the amusing side of life, even when I used to steal cookies out of their cookie jar!
I respect him and will miss him greatly.

My condolences to Andy's family. I remember having his son in class and whenever I would see Andy I would ask him how his son was doing and he would bring me up to date. He was great guy with a big smile and fun to be with at faculty parties at American River College. I taught with Andy his whole career at ARC. We lost touch in later years but I assure you he is not forgotten by me or the students he taught or counseled. Bruce Swinehart
