Anita Louise O'Shea, 81 of Cameron Park, CA passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Anita was born on July 10, 1935 in Kailua, Hawaii to Julian and Mary Jama Sanchez. Anita grew up on the beaches of Lanikai with her six siblings. Predeceased by her brother Richard Jama and her sisters Rita Stender, Ruth Patton and Julie Schupbach. She is survived by Ramona George and Barbara Decker. The family moved to the mainland, Sebastopol, CA in 1949. After graduating Analy High in Sebastopol she moved to the "big city" of San Francisco where she met her future husband at San Francisco Federal. Joseph Michael O'Shea of San Francisco started courting Anita in 1958 and they tied the knot on April 29, 1961. They celebrated 55 years together this last April. They moved from San Francisco in 1969 to Fair Oaks and then settled in Cameron Park in 1977; where they raised their family. Anita is survived by her spouse, Joe O'Shea, three children, Kevin O'Shea (Denise) of Coloma, CA; Robert O'Shea (Lisa) of Elk Grove, CA and Coleen Caspersen (Curt) of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Alexis (Derek) Jackson, Megan O'Shea, Leah O'Shea, Aidan O'Shea, Connor O'Shea, Ryann Caspersen and Clark Caspersen. And many nieces and nephews Anita was a member of the Cameron Park Country Club for 47 years and a founding member of Holy Trinity Church. A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3111 Tierra de Dios Drive, El Dorado Hills CA on Monday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to immediately follow service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Snowline Hospice in Placerville, CA. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Snowline Hospice and all the incredible caregivers that took such loving care of Anita.
