Dad,

It's been 2 months since mom left us and it still feels like a dream. I see her face and hear her beautiful voice everyday. I wish I could be with her, but only God knows the day and time when that will happen. I just want you to know how much I love you. When I think back to when I was a kid, all I can do is smile. You and mom did so much for me and Steven and were always there for us. Most importantly you both kept us in church and taught us right from wrong. We all wish mom was here with us, but I know we couldn't drag her back to this earth after she has seen heaven. I know the pain I feel everyday is nothing compared to yours. I pray for you every night and know God will take care of you. You have always been there for me and I will always be there for you. I love you dad.

Love your son,

Brian Rutledge

Larry,

I cannot begin to imagine how difficult the days have been for you since your beautiful wife and best friend went to be with Christ.

However, I hope you have begun to realize the HOPE you have in Christ that this temporary separation is just that. You will see Liz again.

My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Your brother,

Dear Family,

I've been thinking about all the things that I've done with Nanna. I remember every year we would go shopping for my birthday. I also rememner going camping with her, Papa and Sophia up in Oregon. It was alot of fun. I will always miss her. She was the best Nanna I could ever have.

Dear Larry,

I am praying God wrap his arms around you and your sons at this difficult time. Liz was so very special! Having only met her a few times as you two passed through Las Vegas I have to say, I was in awe of her gentle sweet spirit. I wished I had been gifted with a whole lifetime, with her as my friend. I could feel the love of our Lord when I talked to her. She touched my heart. What a gift, to touch ones heart.

With Heart Felt Love To You and your Family, Debbie

Larry, Steven, and Brian,

Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He said He is the Resurrection and the Life. What hope we can have in those words! Your beautiful wife and mom is with the Savior and now realizes the reality of these truths that she believed. We have sorrow and sadness but we can also know with confidence we will see her again in Heaven.

I am so thankful to have known Liz and your family. As I look back now to when I was a little girl living across the street from you guys, playing with you Steven and Brian, going on outings with your family or just being in your home, I realize that your mom and your family were ministering to us the love of Jesus during a difficult time for our family when my parents separated. The stamp of your mom's love for my family will be forever in my heart. Larry you were blessed with 37 years with a beautiful woman. What a testimony! Steven and Brian you were blessed with a Proverbs 31 mom! I am so sad she is gone but those childhood memories comfort me. Let your memories of her comfort you. And especially let your love for the Lord minister peace to your hurting hearts. You all are in my prayers continually. I love you,

Rissa

Larry Rutledge and Family.

People come into our life for a Reason,a Season,or a Lifetime.

When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a Reason, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. When people come into your life for a Season, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons,it is said that love is blind but Friendship is Clairvoyant. Thank the Rutledge Family for being a part of our life. Prayer: May today there be Peace within you. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing that you are a child of God. Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun. Love always,The Mitchell Family.

Dearest Rutledge family,

May God give you His peace and comfort during this most difficult time.

I was blessed to have worked with Anna--her cubicle was always opened to anyone who just wanted to sit and visit for awhile... there was such a peaceful feeling being with her, and encouraging words of hope and comfort from her.

What a beautiful priviledge to be able to have had a season in my life to share with her!

My prayers are with you!

My Dearest Anna (Banana)...

You were my supervisor, dear friend and confidant for many years.

I was only 19 when I started working for you. You watched me grow up here. You guided me and comforted me through so many struggles during those years, and for that, I am so thankful to have had you in my life.

You have touched my life forever and you will never be forgotten.

Missing you,

Kim

To the Rutledge family,

You are all in my prayers.

God Bless,

Larry & Family,

The angles have taken Liz to heaven and she will be greatly missed by all. She was a woderful lady with a heart of gold. When my father past away in 2001 Larry and Liz were such a great comfort and support to me and my family. Thru all of the tears they stood by our side and just kept reminding us that we are not alone.

If I can do anything for you, Please let me know.

Dearest Rutledge Family,

I was honored to work with Anna during the Davis Administration and though our time together was brief, a person did not have to know Anna long to know that she was a real fine lady and of all the souls I have met hers was the truest.

My heart and prayers are with you, and we know the fortune we have in that special angel looking over us.

I want to thank Elizabeth and her family for all of the prayer for me and my family over the years. Although, Elizabeth didn't know me well, through her sister Rachael, many prayers were offered up for any and all prayer requests. What an awesome legacy to leave your family, that of a prayer warrior. Prayers yet unanswered will be fullfilled because of faithful women like Elizabeth. God only needs to hear the requst once!

It is my happiness over Auntie's ultimate healing that battles my sorrow over having to let her go. She was such an example to so many... As a wife, a mother, a sister, a grandmother, she taught us what it was to love and to care and to live a life with honesty and grace. She showed us what is was to suffer and what it was to truly lean on and completely trust in God and his will. Her passing reminds us that death is a part of life and reminds us that we must live our lives in such a way that we will be able to be with her again one day.

All of our love,

Anna,

It has been years since we last spoke or worked together, but I will always remember you as a caring and helpful person, someone who was always willing to drop whatever you were doing to lend a hand, especially to a "green" new employee.

As the Reagan family aptly put it, you are now seeing your Savior face to face without cancer or any other disease that makes life on earth challenging and painful. You have stepped out of time and into eternity to live with the Holy Trinity and the heavenly host of angels. And you are seeing all of your family and loved ones who went before you. Enjoy the reunion!

May God bless you and your family.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of Anna. I wish I could be there to share in the celebration of her life. As a school-mate, friend of Brian I was blessed to spend time in your home and with your family and receive the care of Anna. May God's perfect PEACE and PURPOSE be evident in your lives during this time. I know how deeply she will be missed by so many who were touched by her life.

God is the giver of "good" and "perfect" gifts and Liz is one of those wonderful gifts sent down from heaven. He has blessed us with her joy, strength and smile all these years. She showed us all how to love, to laugh, to live and even how to pass from life to life everlasting. God knew Liz would reflect His image no matter what she was called on to do.

For those who know Christ and knew Liz, be comforted in knowing that Jesus is coming very soon and we will all be reunited on that day.

God's Spirit will now comfort and lift up those who suffer from this temporary separation.

Larry we love you and weep with you. We equally rejoice with Liz today because she has realized her eternal Hope, Jesus Christ.

To my Uncle Larry, Cousins Steven & Brian, and family:

Our prayers are with you and I know that the Lord will give you peace during this time. I will always cherish the times I spent with all of you growing up. Aunt Liz always made me feel welcome, and I’ll always remember her for her gracious, loving and kind spirit. As a true Christian, she always treated all people with love, understanding, gentleness and kindness. She loved to laugh and enjoyed a fun sense of humor. She trusted in the Lord and stood for Him no matter what. Her love and spirit live on inside my heart until we are together again in eternity. Your Loving nephew, Michael
