Anneliese WRIGHT Obituary

WRIGHT, Anneliese
Joined her loving husband, Herbert A. Wright on November 22, 2011; she was 85. Anneliese was born in Nussloch/Heidelberg, Germany to Georg and Katharina Sickmueller, on May 6, 1926. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for over 34 years and even at the age of 82 she still administered flu shots to those in the community. Anneliese was very active in numerous clubs. She was a member of the Petaluma Lodge #26 of the Hermann Soehne, president of the Sloughhouse Garden Club and past president of the Lodi - Lohengin Lodge #31, O.d.H.S. For the past several years, Anneliese was an ardent volunteer with the Sacramento Jazz Festival Construction group. She loved gardening, handy crafts and traveling. Anneliese was a loving mother to her daughter Roswitha Wright-Fox (Richard), son Carl Wright (Rebecca); proud grandmother of Bradley Wright and Kirsten Wright. She is also survived by her two brothers in Germany, Oskar and Horst Sickmueller. Anneliese was a truly wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; her family and friends will miss the love and beauty she brought into their lives and her wicked sense of humor. There will be a celebration of her life on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 1pm at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anneliese's name to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Assoc.
