Ardis Key Obituary

KEY, Ardis Alvina Ardis Alvina Key, 91 of Roseville, passed peacefully in her home with family at her bedside after a short illness. She is survived by her sister, Lucille Pound of Las Vegas; her sons, William Key of Oregon and Donald Key of Roseville; her daughters Suzann Evans and Donna Nelson of Roseville; grandchildren Andrea Willis, Heather Donovan, Tanci Urban, Jerry Plaskett, Stephen Key; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ardis was called "Babe" since childhood and was a loving mother and devoted wife to her husband Bill (Wilmer), who she shared 47 wonderful years with. Babe was born in North Dakota on a farm and moved to California when she was 14 years old to work as a Nanny. She married Bill when she was 25 years old and together they built 2 homes. They raised their family and both passed away in the home they built and shared their lives in. A viewing will be held between 4 and 7pm at Cochrane and Wagemann, Funeral Directors, 103 Lincoln Street in Roseville, Thursday, February 21st. Funeral will be held on Friday the 22nd at 10am and interment to follow at Roseville Cemetery at 11 am. Please share love and memories on Ardis' guestbook at www.cochranewagemann.com
