Arnold Petty Obituary
October 10, 1940 - February 4, 2025
Clarksburg, California - Arnie passed peacefully surrounded by his family. Born in Biscoe, Arkansas, he moved to Sacramento at the age of 15. He served for 30 years as a Sacramento Deputy Sheriff. Upon retirement he became a grape grower. He enjoyed farming, making wine, fishing and trap shooting. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carole Petty, his Son David Petty (Jackie) Daughters Monica Ramalho (Marvin) Stephany Boyd and was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Anderson. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He made his family and hundreds of friends laugh with his stories of life's many adventures. A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday February 12th at 1 p.m. at Scribner Bend Vineyards 9501 River Road Sacramento Ca. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Sacramento.
