Jinee and family, so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was such a celebrity personality in our youth. I remember my father being impressed that I knew one of the "Outdoorsman's" children. My prayers and condolences to you. Fondly

Like Mitch Agruss down below, Bel hired me at KOVR in 1963. He was a very fair boss and a supportive one. He was a solid, straight-arrow guy and I was privileged to know him.

A Great inspiration to enjoy the outdoors! A true pioneer.

When I worked at Sports Unlimited on Arden Way in Sacramento back in the 1960s we were sponsors on his weekly TV show, "The Outdoorsman". He was a great guy and a real outdoorsman.

Loved listening to Bel over the years. To this day when friends & I are fishing, someone always does their Bel impersonation. Casting out their line & saying "got one" as soon as the line hits the water. Thanks for the memories Mr. Lange.
