Elk Grove, California - Benny Louie passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife Semi Louie; his children, Benny Jr., Denise, Elaine and Walter; 9 grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Huey. He now joins his parents, Kar Pang Louie and Wan Yuk Ng.
Benny was born on August 4, 1942 in Canton province of China and immigrated to the US in pursuit of a better life. He served as a medic in the US Army then led a civilian life welcoming his two sons and two daughters. He later married Semi.
Benny was a brilliant man and great at everything he did. He was a dedicated, influential worker at Flyers (Nella Oil) for over 20 years. In addition, he was an accomplished businessman and owned his own company. He was an amazing father/grandfather who made sure that his family knew he loved them and never left his mind no matter the distance or duration apart. He took yearly trips to China with his wife enjoying the comforts of their country. His stories and life experiences could captivate a room accompanied by his hearty laugh. His winning smile will be missed dearly by his friends, family, and all who have met him. He was laid to rest on January 19, 2021 at Sacramento Memorial Lawn.
