Folsom, California - Beth Anne Kassis, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2025 at the age of 71.

Born on June 20, 1953, in Oakland, California, Beth spent her formative years in Sacramento, where she was raised by her loving parents, Garth and Jeanne Scallon, alongside her brothers, Gary and Brian. From a young age, Beth stood out for her brilliant mind, sharp wit, and irreverent sense of humortraits that continued to define her throughout her life.

A gifted academic and lifelong learner, Beth's journey took her beyond borders through studies abroad and into the hearts of countless people through her unwavering dedication to service. As an Occupational Therapist, she spent her career helping others regain independence and dignity. Her commitment to care extended beyond the workplace; she was a devoted volunteer, giving her time generously to religious, political, and military causes close to her heart.

Beth's compassion, intellect, and laughter left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She carried both strength and grace, especially after the loss of her beloved husband, Chuck Kassis, who preceded her in death on April 26th, 1998.

She is survived by her children, David and Anne Jeannette Kassis (Kitch); her children's spouses, Annie Lynn Kassis and Kelly Kitch; as well as her cherished grandsons, Dawson and Easton Kassis.

Beth's life was a testament to faith, purpose, humor, and heart. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
