I heard of Brian's untimely passing just yesterday. Over the years I have thought of him and wondered what he was doing..it doesn't surprise me at all that he was a public servant extraordinaire. In High School I remember that he didn't fall prey to peer pressure, was an incredible student and friend..he had respect from others myself included due to the integrity he carried himself with. What a loss on this earth to have Brian, "fancy eyes", taken so soon, God must need him for other work. My belated condolences go out to his family and a donation has been given to Lou Gherigs disease ALS in Brian's memory. God bless you, rest in peace Brian...

Karen McQueen's entry proves Brian was destined to be a policeman at a very early age!
He was my cousin. Mom and I played games with him during our Sacramento visits when he was little. We thought he was so sweet. After childhood, I saw him briefly in 2001. He was for sure a family member we were honored to have. His grandmother definitely thought so.
We Cincinnati relatives love you Doreen and Jean, and pray for you at this time of loss.

Jeannie I met Brian when he was probably about 3 or 4 years old. You would bring him into the office to visit with all of us. He was so adorable. I have one memory of him that comes to me when I am driving my car. You and Jim had gone out of town and I picked him up from school and was on my way to drop him off at Colleen's. I made a left hand turn and he looked over at me and said "WHY DIDN'T YOU USE YOUR BLINKER"! I remember thinking that at 5 years old, he was really paying attention to what was going on around him. But to this day when I get ready to make a turn, I always use my blinker, because I hear little Brian's voice in my head.
All my love and prayers go out to you Jeannie.

Brian you were always the sweetest guy and a good friend. You fought a great fight and were an inspiration to others with the dignity with which you handled your situation. Jean, thank you for always giving me updates on Brian and his family over the years when I would pop in to the ol' Stage Coach. We were all blessed to know Brian, he was one of the good ones. May he rest in peace.

Jean and family. I was one of Brian's best friends when you all lived on 22nd Avenue in Sacramento. People used to think that he and I were brothers. You have my deepest sympathies and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost touch with Brian when he moved to Elk Grove, but I always will remember him as my best friend when we were about 10 years old. May God bless you, his wife, his children and your family.

Jean, Doreen & family, I remember Brian as a spunky 10 year old with the biggest, most beautiful eyes, back when Doreen and I were teenage roommates and co-workers. I see that he had grown into a very handsome, admirable man with a wonderful family. Your loss is unfathomable. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers.

Jean our thoughts and prayers are with you. Though I never met Brian, I talked with him when he located my brother for me. He didn't have to help me, but he did and within an hour he had arranged for my brother to call. We didn't know at the time, but that gave us a year of catching up and getting to know my brothers family before he passed a year later. Brian gave us that year and now the connection with his family will always be there.
It is a terrible loss, and I know you will keep his memory alive for his children. I know how much you loved him and how proud you were of him. My heart goes out to you and Brians family.
