Jackie, I was so shocked to read of Bryce's passing. You must be devastated. I always admired the way you lit up when you spoke of your planned retirement with him, and then seeing you after you had retired when you looked so great, it reinforced in my mind that he was indeed a wonderful husband to you and that you were in the midst of a wonderful life. I'm sure you're grateful for the years, however few, that you had with him golfing the days away! If God did have to take him away, at least he gave you some quality time before he did so.
My thoughts, prayers, and love to you in your time of sorrow and healing.
Love, Nancy Whitmer

Dearest Jacque,
I am in shock and am so sorry to hear about Bryce. He always looked like the picture of health. I can't remember ever seeing a cuter, happier couple than the two of you. Be thankful for all of those good years as some people are never able to experience such happiness. My heart goes out to you and I want you to know that you are always welcome to come up to Shingle Springs and visit us. We would love to see you! Please do call me when you are up to it...I really miss seeing and talking with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
With much love,
Barb

Dear Jacque,
I am so sorry for your loss. You must be in shock to have lost Bryce. Your mutual love was always evident. Hilda Garrett was on jury duty this morning and dropped by the courtroom. We had just been talking about Alicia making name tags for Bryce's 50th birthday party, then received a note about his passing. You should have wonderful memories.
