Bryce Reimer Obituary

REIMER, BRYCE
Passed away unexpectedly at home on July 11, 2002 at the age of 68. A native of Sacramento. Cherished husband of Jacquelyn, his wife of 28 years. Loving father of Kathy Winters, Pam (Ken) Wilson, and Sandy (Clay) Reimer-Highfill. Proud grandfather of Kristy (Daniel) Pigeon, Heidi Winters and Kyle Wilson. Also survived by his 94-year-old mother, Violet Heberlie, a niece and two nephews in Reno, Nevada. A 35 year retiree from Aerojet, served as a pilot in the US Air Force, a member of the Carmichael Elks, THE BEARS, and an avid golfer. Bryce will be remembered for his good looks, charming personality, witty sense of humor and love for life. A memorial service will be held on July 19, 2002 at 3pm at Carmichael Elks Lodge, 5631 Cypress Ave, Carmichael, CA. Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.

Jackie, I was so shocked to read of Bryce's passing. You must be devastated. I always admired the way you lit up when you spoke of your planned retirement with him, and then seeing you after you had retired when you looked so great, it reinforced in my mind that he was indeed a wonderful husband to you and that you were in the midst of a wonderful life. I'm sure you're grateful for the years, however few, that you had with him golfing the days away! If God did have to take him away, at least he gave you some quality time before he did so.

Dearest Jacque,

I am in shock and am so sorry to hear about Bryce. He always looked like the picture of health. I can't remember ever seeing a cuter, happier couple than the two of you. Be thankful for all of those good years as some people are never able to experience such happiness. My heart goes out to you and I want you to know that you are always welcome to come up to Shingle Springs and visit us. We would love to see you! I am so sorry for your loss. You must be in shock to have lost Bryce. Your mutual love was always evident. Hilda Garrett was on jury duty this morning and dropped by the courtroom. We had just been talking about Alicia making name tags for Bryce's 50th birthday party, then received a note about his passing. You should have wonderful memories.
