Catherine was one of eleven children born to Richard and Catherine Heinrich. She is survived by sons Richard (Mary), Kevin (Betty), and Maurice ("Moe") (Cindy) and daughter Kathleen Whalen. In addition to her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, she is survived by brothers Charles Heinrich, Robert Heinrich, and Frank Heinrich, sister Clara Allen, and a host of nieces and nephews. Catherine joins, in her heavenly home, her parents, brothers Richard, Edward, William, Brother Nicholas (OFM) (Uncle Walt), and Harold, and sister Gertrude. Catherine was a faithful, lifelong follower of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her strong Catholic faith was a very important part of her life. Catherine was a native and lifelong resident of California, residing in the Broderick and Sacramento areas for the last 55 years. A rosary and funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gridley, Calif., beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19. Burial will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery in Live Oak, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity in Catherine's name would be appreciated.
