Charles Levinsky

1928 - 2025

Charles Thomas Levinsky, born August 14, 1928, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on November 24, 2025. The son of Charles Levinsky and Grace Kellerman, Charles was part of a proud immigrant family, with roots tracing back to Bila Tserkva, Russia. He grew up in Atlantic City alongside his sisters Marilyn and Connie, cherishing memories of shore life, family gatherings, and the simple joys of catching fish and crabs.

Despite challenges, Charles excelled academically, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University. His career was marked by distinguished service; from designing jet engines at Westinghouse, serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, to a storied tenure at Aerojet. There, he contributed to critical defense programs and the Space Shuttle's solid rocket boosters, rising to President of the Advanced Solid Rocket Motor company.

Charles married Mary Skowron in 1952 and later found his soulmate in Jeanne Boehler, with whom he raised a blended family filled with love. A devoted husband, father of seven, grandfather of thirteen, and great-grandfather of twenty-one, Charles was known for his generosity, humor, and unwavering work ethic.

An avid pilot, hunter, fisherman and devoted Oakland Raiders and A's fan, Charles also served his community managing Lakeview Hills' water system for many years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life for all who knew Chuck will be held at his Granite Bay residence at 11:00 a.m. Sat November 29, 2025.
