Charles RODEN Obituary

RODEN, Charles Arnold
'Chuck'
6/20/1931 - 11/16/2013

Chuck was born in Chatta- nooga, TN to Irvin and Faye Roden, being 1 of 7 children. Survived by his wife Adrienne of Magalia, CA; sons Mitchell and Mickey; brother M.L. and sister Bille Hall; as well as over 7,782,346 'spiritual' brothers and sisters in over 239 countries; and many grandchildren.

Chuck served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 to 1953, testing hydrogen bombs in the South Pacific. Leading him to the same conclusion found at Ecllesiastes 8:9 that there must be a better way for humanity. This lead to his dedication as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1958 where he served faithfully in many roles his entire life. He retired as an engineer with Pacific Bell after 42 years.
A celebration of life for Chuck will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 14429 Skyway in Magalia, CA. at 1:30pm on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Please share your thoughts and memories of Chuck on- line at newtonbracewell.com.

When I think of Chuck I think of camping trips with our families. Many memories of when I was a crazy teenager with his family and friends. May God's holy spirit be with your family during this time.
