Rancho Cordova, California - We are sad to announce on Nov. 11th 2025, Skip passed suddenly at his home. Known as Clifton L. NesSmith II to many, but known to many more as Skip, he was the goober of the century. From the tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons to Vampire the Masquerade. To the purveyor of all the online games like Fallout, Cyberpunk, Elder Scrolls to World of Warcraft. From getting his new Steamdeck console which he adored. A major fan of Star Wars, Pokemon (Gengar and Umbreon in particular) to the small indie companies and phone games like his latest favorite Capybara Go. Lover of anything retro, 80s music and a playlists that vary with his moods. He loves listening to audio books, the most recent was Life and Death, Twilight Reimagined by Stephenie Meyer. He loved traveling to new places, like Hawaii and New York. His favorite place was at his PC that he hand built and hes built many. He was our tech savvy man. He adored his wife Heather, their kids, sons Clifton, Johnny and Alex. Plus his special princess Sophia. He has gone on his epic side quest to go battle dragons and whatever things on his to do list while he waits for his family and friends to join him. He is survived by his wife Heather, his children, his parents, his sisters, many nieces and nephews. His favorite dog, his corgi mix named Bear. He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, many aunts and uncles and his little nephew Daniel Jeremiah Gilley. Plus his little chihuahua mix named Peanut. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025 from 9am - 9:45am, with a funeral service beginning at 10am, all at Price Funeral Chapel (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA 95610). Services will be livestreamed. Interment following at 12:30pm at Mary's Cemetery (12020 Rd 98, Woodland, CA 95695).
