Diane ROOKER Obituary
ROOKER, Diane
7/21/1946 - 11/17/2013
Diane was born Diane Naples in Chicago to Joseph and Lorraine Naples. She married Lew Rooker in October of 1971, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Alaska/ Juneau. She worked as an accountant and a systems analyst for the state before her retirement. For the past seven years, she was the volunteer bookkeeper for the SSIP food closet.
She is survived by her husband Lew, their sons Jeremiah and John, daughters-in-law Jessica and Elizabeth Rooker, and grandchildren Ethan Nathaniel and Zola Rose.
A service of remembrance and celebration of her life will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church, 625 Florin Rd., Sacramento, on the 19th at 2:00 p.m. A reception for all at the family home will follow the service.
Diane lived well, laughed often, loved her family, and died too soon.

I love the picture of Diane and it did not surprise me to hear she was volunteering her talent at the Food Kitchen in Sacrementto. She helped to get Housing First in Juneau off the ground with the first project for low income famalies. She was greatly loved and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Lew and family.
