Dixie Ann Fraley

November 28, 1933 - May 1, 2024

Artesia, California - Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Teacher passed away peacefully in Artesia, Southern California. Dixie's parents were Ernest & Elsie Hix -deceased, who lived in Hollywood, CA. Dixie's brother was Ernest Hix-deceased.

Dixie graduated from Hollywood High School in 1951. She attended University of Southern California, and joined the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, majoring in Education. She graduated in 1954. Dixie taught pre-School, Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. Dixie was married to Richard W. Fraley in 1955. Dixie is survived by her four sons, Steven Fraley and his wife Penny (Prescott, AZ.), Kirk Fraley and his wife Lynell (Danville, CA), Shawn Fraley and his wife Leilani (Laguna Hills, CA), Tim Fraley and his wife Jessica ( Bend, OR), her six grandchildren, Kyle Fraley, Maryssa Fraley, Brytten Fraley, Zoe Fraley, Peyton Fraley and Fisher Fraley, and four great grandchildren.

The Celebration of life and Internment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burbank, CA on June 4th, 2024. If interested donations can be made to the American Bible Society.
