Elk Grove, California - Donald E. Lowe
Loving father (Evan and Dannon Lowe), brother (Thomas Lowe, Dee Dee Mah) and son (Jean C. Lowe) Donald "Don" Lowe enjoyed a life of joy surrounded by those who loved him. Spending over 30 years of managing the produce department of major grocery stores, Donald spent much of his free time instructing young kids and adults at Sac. Judo Club. He enjoyed fun times and laughter while gaming in Reno, eating crab at the seafood buffets, going to shows and the rib festival. In June of 2021, Don was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (brain cancer) and had to curtail many of his activities as he underwent treatment.
Don lost his battle at home after 7 months, surrounded by his family.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Sutter Hospice, Sutter Medical and his medical team from UC Davis.
Friends are encouraged to make donations in Don's name to Sacramento Judo Club.

I am so sorry for your loss. HIs sons, Evan and Dannon are examples of what a great father he was. His tragic death is heartbreaking. He was blessed to have a loving family that cared for him. I hope as time goes on your hearts will become full of fond memories and peace.
