Dylan Arellano Obituary

Of Gold River, CA, left us unexpectedly to join his Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 12, 2009. He was born September 9th, 1960, in San Jose, CA, son of Jarvis and Diane Arellano. He married Karen Carson in 1997 and lived in Gold River, CA. Dylan was a bakery manager for 19 years with Raley's Stores and most recently an account manager with Bakemart. He loved being with his children, fishing, cycling, reading, and was a loyal L.A. Dodger fan. He is survived by his wife, Karen, two beautiful daughters Amy Claire (9), and Jill Marie (6), his mother, father, stepmother Glenda Arellano, his sister Laurel Arellano Grimm, brother Mark Regeleski, stepsister Carlen Torres, stepbrother Aaron Torres, and his extended family. We are heartbroken with the loss of our father, son, brother, friend, and husband but find comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace and rest. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Dylan's life on October 3, 2009, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 625 Florin Road, Sacramento, at 1:00 P.M. with a reception following at the church. A memorial fund for Amy and Jill (#450272) has been established at the SAFE Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 1057, North Highlands, CA 95660-1057, (800) 733-7233.

It's been two years now. I've visited your final resting place on each anniversary and will continue to do so. I keep your photo in my office. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and the girls. Your departure has left a hole in our hearts and lives that bottomless and unfillable. Charlene keeps in touch with me at work and still speaks of "good times" with you, revisiting old places that you two frequented. Miss you so much.

Every time I pick up a book, every time I go for a bike ride, I will think of you, Dylan. I always looked forward to Monday mornings~knowing our paths would cross. You were a good listener, a good friend. You are missed already & will never be forgotten.

I hope that Dylan has found peace. May his family and friends help his daughters through this time and understand that their father's love will always be with them.

Dylan, my friend. We've shared our lives in many great, yet strange ways over all the years. I truly hope that you have found the peace that you so needed....though there's no doubt in my mind this is yet another adventure for you. I will miss you dearly as yes...never a dull moment whenever we were together and I only feel sorry that our pathes didn't cross as often in the last decade, though I have "Dylan Stories" to last me a lifetime. Thank you and God bless, my friend.
