I went to Tahoe Elementary School. I was in the "mid-term" class all through elementary school. I went to school with Ed Stewart. Our class was small so we stayed together all through elementary school. Ed Stewart's dad worked for Campbell's Soup. He arranged a tour of the plant for our entire class one year. I still remember Mr. Stewart showing us around the plant.
I was sad to read this obituary in the paper and contacted several people from our class. They think this is Ed Stewart from our childhood days at Tahoe School. Time passes and lives change as we move on in life. We lose touch with what others are doing. Just wanted to acknowledge that if this is the Ed Stewart who grew up around the Tahoe Park area he is remembered.
My condolences to the family.
