June 4, 1932 - May 14, 2022
Citrus Heights, California - Elizabeth, "Liz", was born in Upland, California to Wilmer and Helen White. She attended school in Ontario, San Mateo, and graduated from San Mateo H.S.,as valedictorian in 1950. Liz attended the University of Redlands, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Ed. She taught music one year in Los Angeles and ten years at Laurel Jr. High School. Liz received her Masters' Degree in Counseling from Syracuse University in New York. She returned to California in 1965 to begin her counseling career in the Folsom Cordova USD. She retired from Mills Middle School in 1993. Liz was the choir director/Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Carmichael for 23 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister and best friend, Mary Evelyn Edfast, her beloved niece, Susan Perkins, and her long-time friend, Joan Hynes. She is survived by two great-nieces, Liesl Berry and Dr. Kirsten Perkins, and her furry companion, Snickers. She will be sorely missed by cousins and friends who enjoyed her sense of humor, her undying love for her puppies, and many "let's do lunch" dates. Donations can be made to the Sacramento SPCA in her name. No service is planned.

I built Liz's some 40 years ago. The project brought us together as friends. I gave Liz an informal "Lifetime Guarantee". But each call also consisted of great conversation, and an offer to pay. I will miss Liz.
