MOORE, Ernest Leon
Age 54, died at home in Sacramento, CA, after a brief illness with his wife Gail Moore and 2 sons Ernest Leon Moore, Jr. and Marlon Alex Moore at his bedside on, Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Ernest Moore was born on April 28, 1954 in Greenville, North Carolina. He was the son of Zeno Moore, Jr. and Beulah H. Moore of Greenville, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife Gail Moore, 2 sons Ernest Leon Moore, Jr. and Marlon Alex Moore in Sacramento, CA, 2 granddaughters Heavyn Virginia Moore and Lahailah September Moore, 1 brother of Boston, Mass., Carl Moore, 2 sisters, Patricia A. Spain of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Brenda Moore in Virginia. His family and everyone who knew him can attest that he was a man of strength, wisdom and courage. His was a heart of gold. We will miss him. Final viewing of Ernie Moore will be at The Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95824, on Sunday, October 19 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Memorial Service in celebration of his life while we were blessed to have him in our lives will be held on Tuesday, October 28, at the Del Paso Union Baptist Church, 1335 Los Robles Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95838, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Ernie, we will truly miss you.
