Estelle Loeffler

Fair Oaks, California - Estelle Louise Loeffler, 92, of Fair Oaks, CA passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born to Fern and John Kozicki, Sr. in Susanville, CA. on November 14, 1929, and entered into God's Heavenly Kingdom on May 19, 2022. She is survived by her four sons: Rodney Loeffler (Carol) of Fair Oaks, CA; Michael Loeffler (Anita) of Kuna, ID; Richard Loeffler (Pam) of Citrus Heights, CA; Kenny Loeffler (Kelly) of Roseville, CA; four grandchildren: Adam Loeffler, Emily Loeffler, Maris Loeffler, and Laura Loeffler. Estelle was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Clarence Loeffler; sisters Elaine Murphy, Evelyn Payne, Patricia Hoss; brother John P. Kozicki; and grandson Andrew Loeffler. When she was two years old her parents entered her into a Beautiful Baby Contest sponsored by Sparks Nevada State Journal, which she won. Estelle's father worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad requiring the family to move to various locations including Sparks, NV, Carlin, NV and eventually Ogden, UT where she graduated from Ogden High School in 1947. She began working for Southern Pacific Railroad at the age of 17. At the age of 20, she moved to Sacramento, CA and worked in a variety of clerical positions. In 1953 she married Clarence Loeffler, and started a family. She was a full-time homemaker while she raised her sons. After her children were grown, she rejoined the workforce, working at Sacramento County Environmental Management from 1985 to 1995. Estelle's hobbies included travel, photography, participating in a bowling league, and gardening. She had quite a green thumb. Estelle's sons and grandchildren meant everything to her. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Mel Catholic Church in Fair Oaks, CA, where she was a member of the Legion of Mary. Estelle was a very loving and strong-minded women, some even defined her as "spunky". Estelle (Mom) will forever be greatly loved and missed. The Rosary will be on Wednesday, June 1. Viewing from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Price Funeral Chapel 6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA 95610. Funeral will be on Thursday, June 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mel Catholic Church, 4745 Pennsylvania Ave. Fair Oaks, CA. Burial at Fair Oaks Cemetery 7780 Olive St. Fair Oaks, CA. Reception to follow at St. Mel Parish Hall.
