Esther Carney Obituary
In 1955, Esther married Max Carney, and together they shared 60 years of marriage until his passing. Her life was centered around family, and she found great joy in the traditions and gatherings that brought loved ones together across generations.
She is survived by her children Darlene, Sandra, and Michael; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Hyatt and brothers Alejandro and Charles Franco. Esther leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will remember her with affection.
She was preceded in death by her husband Max Carney; her grandson Justin Ratliff; her parents Guillermo and Antonia Franco; and her brother Guillermo Franco.
A funeral service to honor Esther's life will be held on December 18, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Catholic Funeral Center, 7100 Verner Ave., Citrus Heights, CA.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
