F. Baker Obituary
March 1, 1931 - January 31, 2022
Sacramento, California - F. Christine Baker was born in Indio, CA. She passed on January 31, 2022, at the age of 90 from natural causes brought on by dementia. She is survived by her siblings Eva Clark and Floyd Russell.
To cherish the memory and continue the legacy of Freddie Christine Baker are her children Johnnie B. Baker, Jr. (Melissa), Robie Baker, Tonya Orozco (Eduardo), Victor Baker (deceased), and Taria Michalet, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grand children.
Christine's work career spanned teaching and counseling at Sacramento State University, modeling, serving as an advisor at Vacaville State prison, and owning a Tourist Agency. Touring ended up being her final passion. She led tours to both European and Caribbean destinations.
All are welcome to attend her service on Saturday, February 12, 12pm at Allen Chapel AME Church, 1239 Grand Avenue. Interment East Lawn Sierra Hills. Masks Required. Service provided by Morgan Jones Chapel of Chimes.

During the latter years of Chris's life she and my family became close. She enjoyed Christmas with us and liked sharing her history. She and I liked having a great massage with lunch afterwards. Chris persevered against many odds. She valued any Time spent with her family and her presence will be missed.

The last time I traveled with Chris she was in her 80´s and said she´d done everything on her bucket list and if she´d known she would live as long as she did, she would have made it longer. She lived a good earthly life and now she joyfully lives on in her eternal home. Rejoice!
