My sympathy and prayers go out to gary's family and friends.I am truely honored to have known him. God couldnt have taken a better person from us. The few times that i did go shooting or fishing with the guys are some of my most fondest memories of him. It seems just like yesterday. I will truely miss you.

G A R Y
THIS IS GOODBYE TO MY DEAR OLD FRIEND;
HE FOUGHT SO HARD RIGHT TO THE END.
A SHINING STAR FOR ALL TO BEHOLD.
WITH SO MANY TALES LEFT UNTOLD.
I WRITE THESE WORDS TO EASE MY PAIN;
FOR NEVER WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN.
NEVER WILL I SHAKE THAT GIANT HAND
OR FOLLOW YOUR FOOTSTEPS IN THE SAND.
TO WATCH YOU MAKE THAT PERFECT CAST
INTO THAT HOLE THAT I JUST PASSED.
AND STAND AGASP AS I HEAR YOU SHOUT
WHILE YOU LAND ANOTHER PREMIERE TROUT.
BUT EVERY GREAT FISH I CATCH
FROM NOW UNTILL I DIE
WILL I HOLD FOR YOU TO SEE, THERE IN THE SKY.
NEVER WILL I KNOW ANOTHER SUCH FRIEND
AND THE HOLE IN MY HEART NEVER WILL MEND.
BUT THE LORD'S WILL BE DONE;
TO THIS I STAND TRUE.
AND I'M A BETTER MAN TODAY BECAUSE I KNOW YOU KNEW IT TOO.
SO GOD MUST BE PRAISED
THOUGH YOUR TIME HERE HAS PAST.
AND I'LL SING YOUR NAME IN GLORY UNTIL I BREATHE MY LAST.
AND THAT DAY WILL COME WHEN I WILL BE AT YOUR SIDE.
UNTIL THEN I'LL FISH ALONE WITH YOUR SPIRIT AS MY GUIDE.
FOR I'LL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER FRIEND
THAT SHINES QUITE LIKE YOU GARY.
BUT IN MY HEART YOU'LL ALWAYS BE,
FOR YOUR SPIRIT WILL I CARRY.
REST IN PEACE BROTHER. I LOVE YOU DEARLY.
And my deepest sympathy to you Mr. and Mrs. Nutt and Bruce; and to all of us who knew and loved Gary. We cry now for our loss, not his, for he truly is in a better place.
