George Holden Obituary
November 22, 1957 - May 16, 2024
Folsom, California - George Ronald "Ron" Holden, age 66, went to be with Jesus on May 16, 2024. Ron was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to George Jack and Gladys Marie (Rice) Holden. Ron spent his early years in Greenfield, Indiana and later moved to Folsom, California.
Ron loved animals and had a passion for nature. He enjoyed many adventures on the American River and he appreciated every breath of fresh air God gave him. Ron treasured his family and friends. Along with a kind disposition and keen sense of humor, he had a compassionate spirit that touched so many lives.
Ron's siblings include his brother Larry (Norma) Holden and sisters Jacqueline (Ray) Doerschlen, Valerie (Craig) Michael, Debra (Larry) Holdorf, Sara (Ron) Richardson, and Rebecca (Sam Mims) Holden.
Ron will be laid to rest alongside family at Anderson Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Ron is missed beyond measure and will forever be close to our hearts.

I met George through work and from there we became good friends. George was a good man who didn't judge people. He was kind and gentle and generous to everyone he met. Though we lost touch with one another these past few years the love doesn't go away. My heart is broken over the loss of his passing and my prayers go out to his family. I will always remember George for the good friend he was and the bright light he brought into my life RIP good friend. I was so lucky and feel so honored to have had a friend like you. George you are priceless and brought so much goodness in my life. Thank you. I will always remember you and your smile you wore everyday no matter what. I am humbled and grateful to have had someone like you come into my life that I can say and considered to be a good friend of mine Thank you again Georgie for all the goodness you brought in this life. I have no doubt you will bring bigger to where you are now. In heaven, with Jesus, smiling like you do with all the Saints and Angels by your side.
