George Wheeler Obituary
July 27, 1941 - May 16, 2024
North Highlands, California - George, beloved husband of Nancy Wheeler for the past sixty three years, passed away on May 16th, 2024, in his North Highlands home. He was an "AMAZING" and "LOVING" husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He was born in Bridgewater, MA. He enlisted in the USAF at the age of 18, fresh out of high school. He began his journey. He retired from the Air Force only to continue his devotion to the Air Force by becoming very involved with the Air Force Sgt's Association. He was President of Chapter 1322, for the next 10 years. He also found time to Have a career with the State of CA. at The Dept of Water Resources. From which he retired after 20 years.
He is survived by his "DEVOTED" wife Nancy, "BEAUTIFUL" Great Granddaughter Kylie, "HANDSOME" Great Grandson Aiden, and Grandchildren Amber and Anthony. Also not to be forgotten his ever-tail-wagging "Penny".
He will be missed by so many "FRIENDS". God Bless you, my darling partner, I LOVE YOU so much!
George will be laid to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA with full Military honors. A Celebration of Life will be held at the North Highlands VFW.

My sincere condolences. I loved bowling with George until he decided he didn´t want to bowl anymore. Great sense of humor! He´ll be missed!
