Hing Wong Obituary


WONG, Hing
Hing Wong passed away peacefully on January 3, 2008 in Elk Grove, CA. He was born in Toishan, Kwangtung, China on September 12, 1915. A long-time resident of Sacramento, he proudly served in the United States Army and worked in the restaurant business and at Kaiser Hospital. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, May Goon Wong and his loving grandson Rodney "Porky" Mead. He is survived by his loving children Helen Fong, Jennie Fong, Mamie Liu, Priscilla Davis, Faye Farrens, Billy Wong and Caroline Luttig. Loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend the Wake 6:00-7:00 p.m Wednesday, January 9 and also the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10 at the GEORGE L. KLUMPP CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, Riverside Boulevard and Second Avenue. Interment at East Lawn Cemetery, 4300 Folsom Boulevard, Sacramento.
